International Research
Research teams at OSU Pytheas are involved in numerous international research programmes, infrastructures and scientific networks. Our institute is dedicated to the comprehensive exploration of the universe and its evolution, as well as the study of Earth systems, which includes terrestrial and deep-sea environments. Through our cutting-edge research and innovative teaching methods, we aim to advance our understanding of the cosmos and our planet, paving the way for groundbreaking discoveries and advancements in science and addressing major global challenges such as climate change, biodiversity errosion, oceans, natural hazards and planetary sciences.
The OSU actively supports the international mobility of researchers and welcomes visiting scientists, postdoctoral fellows and international collaborators through several national and European schemes, including Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA).
OSU Pytheas also contributes to the international scientific attractiveness strategy developed by Aix-Marseille University. In this context, AMU recently launched the “Safe Place for Science” initiative, aimed at welcoming scientists from USA seeking an environment that promotes academic freedom, scientific excellence and international collaboration.
Do not hesitate to get in touch, OSU Pytheas is always open to developing new international collaborations and welcoming researchers from around the world.
